We are now 10 days from traveling and there is so much going through my mind right now.

I'm wondering how well our initial meeting with each child is going to go. Are they going to see us and freak out? Are they going to run over and embrace us or something in between? My first instinct is to run over and smother them in love, but I don't want to freak them out (laugh).

Do they have any idea how much their lives are going to change?

Still so much to do. To be this close to traveling is just so unreal right now. all the things we've put off because we knew we'd have time, but now we don't (laugh).

God has revealed Himself so much these last few days that I don't think I can put it all in words. He provided abundantly at the garage sale. I don't see how we could have made as much money as we did based on the stuff we had to sell. It reminds me of the Bible story of the loaves and fishes (laugh).

We were able to exceed the goal of our matching Lifesong grant!! We can't thank those who gave enough.

We had friends of the family who provided airline miles for Violet and I to get to China and back.

That is just to name a few of the miracles that God has provided in this whole ordeal. There are too many others to mention. A friend of mine suggested that we have someone try and document our adventure and share it with others. We'll see what we can do.

We will be trying to blog while we're traveling, but we're not sure how reliable our internet connections will be and if we're even able to reach back to the states, but we'll see. If nothing else, I'm going to journal it all down on paper and post it when we get back.
