We just received an update from our adoption agency's Guangzhou staff stating that they have picked up our Article 5(s) (signed 2nd acceptance letter) from the Consulate and now it is off to the CCCWA.
The Article 5 typically takes about 2-3 days to be delivered to the CCCWA. Once the CCCWA receives this document, they will have all that they need to issue our travel approval.
We could be traveling in the next 2 to 4 weeks!!
On another note: The US Consulate now requires that tuberculosis skin test (PPD) to be performed for all children age 2 and older before issuing the visa for the child to enter the United States. Both JB & Charity checked out fine!!
